Stephen Scott is Trane’s Sustainable Systems Leader for Canada. In this role, Stephen mentors and coaches the Canadian field sales organization to drive the growth of sustainable systems offerings including electrification of heating, thermal energy storage, and next-generation refrigerants. His role also involves supporting marketing efforts, driving key metrics, and sharing best practices across the organization.

Since 1997, Stephen has held several roles during his career at Trane. He served as Equipment Solutions Manager for Central and Eastern Canada where he led teams responsible for pre- and post-sales activities. He also served as Sales Manager for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas leading a large sales team focused on mechanical contractors and consulting engineers. His additional experience includes work outside of Trane as the Energy Solutions Manager for North America at Armstrong Fluid Technology developing market opportunities and organizational capabilities to succeed with customer projects.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering chemistry from Queen’s University and has completed Trane’s Graduate Training Program. He is an active member of ASHRAE, Professional Engineers Ontario, and the Canadian Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional. Outside of his professional life, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, running, playing pickleball, enjoying music, reading, and photography.
