Kirk Johnson is a Sr. Market Transformation Director with 15+ years experience designing and delivering high-profile low carbon/net zero, capacity building, retrofit/new construction, financing, DEI, cleantech, business intelligence, affordability, and decarbonization programs across Canada’s multi-family, office, single-family, and public-sector buildings. Includes AI, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation-DX, CRE, and Cybersecurity workforce development.

He has led the design of 25+ Sustainability Programs ($300M+ in cumulative budgets) with NRCan, CaGBC, City of Toronto, BOMA, ISED, University of Waterloo, Humber College, OPA/IESO, HRAI, ECCC, and MOE. Kirk has also been a lead or key contributor to DSM programs & standards including NRCan’s Portfolio Manager Canadian adaptation (2006-13)/EnerGuide ERS/ESNH (2017)/ENERGY STAR for Multi-family (2017), Ontario Building Code OBC SB-10/SB-12 (2017), Toronto Green Standard (2009/2018), IESO-funded BOMA Toronto CDM/HPNC/New Home incentive Programs (2006-08), CHBA’s NZE Standard (2015-17), and City of Toronto’s BBP Incentives Portfolio & 5 Community Energy Plans (CEP) (2009-11)
