Alexander Gard-Murray is the Director of the Greenhouse Institute, a think tank researching climate change policy. He was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Climate Solutions Lab and the Rhodes Center for International Economics and Finance at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University, and a College Fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Government at Harvard University.
Gard-Murray holds a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford, where he studied at Nuffield College. His doctoral work won the American Political Science Association’s 2021 Virginia Walsh award for the Best Dissertation in Science, Technology, and Environmental Politics completed in the last two years.
